The W.O.R.L.D of Preschool Ministry at First Baptist Church includes all children birth through Kindergarten.  We seek to provide a Bible learning experience that will lead preschoolers to begin forming a foundation for their relationship with Christ.

Sunday School Assistant
The Sunday School Assistant is responsible to the Minister of Preschool Education for helping to care for the many Bible learning classes on Sunday mornings. Download Job Description

Department Director
The Sunday School Directors are responsible to the Minister of Preschool Education for the staffing and care of his/her individual Bible learning class on Sunday mornings. Download Job Description

Preschool Bible Life Leadership

The Preschool Ministry of First Baptist Church maintains a high standard of excellence in teaching the Bible to young children.  You have volunteered and been called to teach the Bible to little children.  This is not a commitment to be taken lightly.  You are a teacher...not a "worker", "helper", or "babysitter".

Your curriculum is excellent, self-explanatory, Biblically-based, developmentally appropriate and child-centered.

The preschool staff and assistants are always available to answer questions, help you with planning, and assist you in every way possible to fulfill your high calling of teaching young children.  In addition, leadership training and fellowship is offered approximately once each month at 6:00 p.m. during the course of your on-going commitment.
