Sunday School Groups for Grades 1-6

Sunday School Groups are the foundation of our ministry to Children.  Each week, loving, caring adults share the love of Christ with 1st-6th graders through Bible Study, games, songs, crafts, and lots of other fun activities. Each department provides children with large group and small group experiences.

We offer Sunday School for children at 9:45 am each week. Children’s departments are organized by grade level.  Since Sunday School is a Bible study, children should bring their Bibles each week.  If your child does not have a Bible, let us know and we will be delighted to present your child with a new Bible at no cost to you.  Parents should clearly communicate with children and leaders where their family will meet following Sunday School.  Parents are encouraged to pick up their children from the classroom.

ARENA - Before Sunday School Groups, all first through third graders participate in a fun and exciting large-group worship time which includes interactive worship songs, dramas, and video.

Quiet Time Club for grades 1-6

Each week during the school year, children will be given a “Quiet Time Guide” in their Sunday School Group. This tool will help them discover God’s Word and develop the discipline of daily prayer and Bible Study. Students earn points for each “Quiet Time” completed and can earn prizes and a Mystery Trip.

I’m a Christian NOW (New Believer’s Class)

Once a quarter at 6:00 p.m. in room A206, the children’s ministry explains what it means to be a Christian in an easy fun way. This class is great for children who have recently made a profession of faith, who would like to know more about being baptized or those who just need foundational teaching about our beliefs. Topics include: The Lord’s Supper, baptism, spiritual growth, prayer, Bible study witnessing and more. The class will include a book to use in your home along with four group studies. Parents are a child’s best teacher and primary Bible teacher. We want to equip you to guide your child on this journey to follow Christ. The class will require time during the week to follow up on each session, but it will be time well spent – time that will impact your child’s life from this point on and to eternity.
